the haves-nots can often be traced to the did's and the did-nots. Dec 2 O Lord, I place my full trust in You and in Your absolute goodness. Amen. If we fill our
hours with regrets over the failures of yesterday and with worries over
the problems of tomorrow, we have no today in which to be thankful. Dec 3 Bless my family today, Lord, and grant that we recognize that we need each other - and You beside us. Amen. No matter what
you seek to do - Dec 4 Gracious God, I trust that You will provide for me for You know what I truly need better than I know myself. Thank You for Your care. Amen. Behold the
turtle. He makes progress only when he sticks his neck out. Dec 5 Gracious God, I have doubts and despairs that seem to know no end. Keep me assured that Your are my staff of my life. Amen. Parenthood :

only the beginning. Dec 7 O Lord, help me be sensitive to the dreams of others. Keep me looking beyond myself. Amen. God gave
burdens, also shoulders. Dec 8 Dear Lord, show me how to accept Your power in every part of me, so that You can be seen in my every work and word. Amen. If there was a
market for after-thoughts, most of us would be rich. Dec 9 In my heart I know that God is with me, that God loves me and that God never fails me; so my heart has every reasons to smile. Amen. The past, the
present and the future are really one - they are today. Dec 10 Thank You ,Lord , for guiding me through the problems of the day. Help me to see beyond the events that surround me. Amen. How beautiful
a day can be when kindness touches it-- make someone's day beautiful
today. Dec 11 O God, guide me courage to be honest with others for the sake of finding real and lasting peace. Amen. A good test
for conversation; if you wouldn't write it and sign your name to it--
don't say it. Dec 12 Dear Lord, I know Your spirit is present in my loved ones; in their midst inspiring them, guiding them, and bringing about needed changes. Amen. We can't all
be shining examples, but we can atleast twinkle a little. Dec 13 God is wisdom and His Spirit is present within me. I will follow Him with faith and trust. Amen. When trouble
strikes, take it like a man-- blame it on your wife. Dec 14 Direct my steps to the paths that will lead me to You. Help me to do Your will in all ways. Amen. Nothing makes
it easier to resist temptation than a proper upbringing, a sound set of
values, and witnesses. Dec 15 Give
generously for your gifts will return to you later. Use what
talents you have - the woods would be silent if no bird sang except those
that sing best. Dec 16 Dear Lord, You are a God who saves. Give me faith to cling to You, for You are faithful in Your promises. Amen. No one can
make you feel inferior without your consent. Dec 17 Dear Lord, let me feel close to Your heart and protect me from harm. Amen. Happiness is
like a KISS - in order to get any good out of it, you have to give
it to somebody else. Dec 18 Father, there is much in my life that is not worthy of You. I'm not proud of that and I pray to be different. May Your Spirit get through to me. Amen. Every bigot
was once a child free of prejudice. Dec 19 I need Your help today, dear Father, to be less complaining and less fault finding. Amen. Nature
couldn't make us perfect, so she did the next best thing - she made us
blind to our faults. Dec 20 Dear Lord, I try to be patient with my loved ones but don't always succeed. Help me to love them unconditionally, as You love me. Amen. The best
reformers are those who start with themselves. Dec 21 I trust and hold fast to my faith in God's goodness and in His presence in me. No matter what the appearance or outer condition , God loves, supports, and strengthens me. Amen. Don't let your
yearnings exceed your earnings. Dec 22 Forgive the many errors that I made yesterday, and let me try again, dear God, to walk closer in Your way. Amen. Every life has
its dark and cheerful hours. Happiness comes from choosing which to
remember. Dec 23 Dear Lord, there are so many of Your children who are in need. Help me to seek them out and ease their burden amen. Forget what
the world owes you and concentrate on what you owe the world. Disregard
what you have done for your friends and remember what they have done
for you. Dec 24 O Lord, You have given me so much. Help me to remember that Your gifts are not for me to keep to myself and my family, but are meant to be shared with those who have so much less than I . Amen. Protect the
birds. The dove brings peace and the stork, tax exemptions. Dec 25 Help me to remember, Father, that true happiness comes when we give of ourselves to others. the good I do today is my gift to myself and to You. Amen. In an
ever-changing world, may God's love enfold us and embrace us today and
throughout the New Year. Dec 26 Grant me the gift of understanding, O God. You understand and forgive so much, please guide me now. Amen. Oh, to have
the gift to think for ourselves as we can think for others. Dec 27 Creation of woman from the rib of man : She was not
made of his head to top him: nor out of his feet to be trampled upon by
him ; but out of his side to be equal with him , under his arm to be
protected, and near his heart to be loved. Dec 28 Lord, grant that I may look to You to lead me across all life's pathways. Help me to trust You and to follow faithfully. Amen. The best angle
from which to approach any problem is the try-angle. Dec 29 Show me the path where I should go, O Lord, Lead me , teach me, for You are the God who gives me salvation. Amen. Why is it
easier to confess our sins than to admit our faults?? Dec 30 I want to approach this day in peace, Lord. Help me not to put all my faith in people, but in You. Amen. If you laugh a
lot, when you get older your wrinkles will be in the right places. Dec 31 The same infinite intelligence and loving Spirit that leads and guides me is leading and guiding my loved ones. Each of us must grow In our own way. Amen Walk softly
