July 1 Father, help me to be pleasant today -- to speak kindly and to act and feel concern for those with whom I come in contact today. Amen. Flattery
is all right -- if you don't inhale.
July 2 Help me, Lord, to find you when I reach out to you. Sometimes I forget that you are the hope reaching out to all of us. Amen. O Lord,
help my words to be gracious and tender today, for tomorrow I may have
to eat them.
July 3 O Lord, grant me the patience to endure my blessings. Amen. If you
can hold hands and your TONGUE, that's love.
July 4 Dear God, after I have cried out to you, help me to hear you. Amen. No rule
for success will work if you don't.
July 5 Dear Lord, help me to give freely and joyfully -- not only of my possessions, but of my time and love. Amen. Most of
the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who
have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.
July 6 Loving God, I thank you for the forgiveness you offer me. Give me the grace to ask for it. Amen. The best
reformers the world has ever had are those who have commenced on themselves.
July 7 God of us all, helpme to recognize that the love I so often talk about starts not with me but with me. Amen. Seconds
count, especially when Dieting.
July 8 Heavenly Father, I know that no one else is more able or willing to strengthen me than you. With your help, my burdens become bearable and lighter. Amen. When you
feel you just can't stand on your feet any longer, try a bended knee.
July 9 Father, I feel that I am acceptable to you. I pray to become more accepting of others. Having known your love, may I love more fully. Amen. A temper
is a valuable possession -- don't lose it.
July 10 If I get discouraged today, Lord, let me feel your presence and guidance. As I extend my hand , let me feel your reassuring grasp and abundant love. Amen. Deal with
the faults of others as gently as you do with your own.
July 11 I will not quarrel with anyone today, dear Lord, and I will try to behave so no one will quarrel with me. Amen. We wouldn't
worry so much about what other people thought of us if we knew how seldom
they did.
July 12 Dear Lord, help me to remember that you will strengthen me to face all difficulties. I know you will not desert me when I call to you with faith and trust. Amen. Your best
friend is the one who is a friend without expecting anything.
July 13 Thank you, dear Lord, for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me and my loved ones. May I be worthy of your love. Amen. It isn't
our position but our disposition that makes us happy.
July 14 Dear Lord, help me to guide my children to live and grow in the manner pleasing to you. Help me to extend a loving but a Firm hand. Amen. Don't
fret over what you'd do with your time if you could live over again……get
busy with what you have left.
July 15 Lord, show me how to accept your power in every part of me, so that you can be seen in my every action and heard in my every word. Amen. When you
are in trouble, try to keep your chin up and your mouth shut.
July 16 Lord, forgive me for the sin of indifference, and put me to work for those less fortunate than I. Amen. The only
way to avoid mistakes is to gain experience. The only way to gain experience
is to make mistakes.
July 17 Help me to remember, dear Lord, that through You I can have the love and strength to face all difficulties. Amen. They who
trim themselves to suit everyone will soon whittle themselves away.
July 18 O Lord, when I feel overwhelmed, let me not forget that you are greater than any problem and that I can trust your love. Amen. The measure
of your real character is what you would do if you knew you would never
be found out.
July 19 Dear Father, I pray that each member of my family accept your love and that we remember you love us just as we are. Amen. A diet
is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit.
July 20 O Lord, hold my hand and guard me. Help me make the right decisions and say the right words today to make life pleasant for those around me. Amen. Those
who cannot forgive others break the bridge over which they themselves must
pass.
July 21 Dear Lord, my faith is my growing conviction that you are here, now, with me -- and that you care about me. Thank you for Your Love. Amen. Marriages
are not made in Heaven. They come in kits and you have to put them together.
July 22 O Lord, grant that I may follow your words in my daily life. Your truth shall teach me, guide me, and protect me. Amen. Life is
just like an ice-cream cone-- so learn to lick it.
July 23 Heavenly Father, help me to stop worrying about money so much. Instill in me the knowledge that you always provide. Amen. Try to
fix the mistake - not the blame.
July 24 Maker of us all, help me to remember that I and your child, and that it should be my constant aim to love as you do. Amen. When you
make you mark in the world, watch out for the guys with erasers.
July 25 In Thee, O Lord I have put my trust; let me never be put to confusion. Amen. --Psalm

no better exercise for the heart than reaching down and lifting someone
up.
July 26 O Lord, I am richly blessed. Today I have eyes to see and ears to hear. I am consciously aware of all my blessings. Thank you, dear Lord. Amen. Before
flaring up at the faults of others, pause and count ten -- of your own.
July 27 O God, give me patience as I wait for a pokey child, for a friend who is late, for my turn while shopping. Let me remember to use these waiting moments to reflect upon Your goodness and mercy. Amen. A friend
is one who comes to you when all others leave.
July 28 There is nothing for me to fear, dear God, for Your spirit in me is greater than anything in the world. I praise you. Amen. Those
who have learned to disagree without being disagreeable have discovered
the most valuable secret of the diplomat.
July 29 Dear God, help me to see the needs of others and know that with you beside me to guide me, I can help to fulfill those needs. Amen. Now that
I've got it all together ---
July 30 Heavenly Father, I have caused unhappiness and made mistakes for which I am truly sorry. Forgive me and help me to forgive myself. Amen. Grief
can take care of itself, but to get the full value of joy you must have
someone to divide it with.
